Producing a high-quality sword requires the execution of more than 20 major processes, including smelting, blanking, hot forging, shoveling, filing, grinding, and decoration, with each process encompassing several smaller sub-processes.

Particularly through the technique of local quenching, the blade's hardness and strength are significantly increased, resulting in a sharper edge. The refinement of the blade involves a meticulous sequence of over ten grinding processes, progressing from coarse to fine, to achieve a sharp, flat, and lustrous finish. The blade's ridge line is perfectly straight, and the groove line is precisely standard.

The intricate decoration of the Tsuka (handle), Saya (scabbard), and Tsuba (guard) is also an essential component of this exceptional Japanese Samurai Katana Sword. The blade features a honsanmai structure, comprising folded steel, 1095 steel, and 1045 steel, all fully handcrafted.

The sword's Tsuba is meticulously copper-plated with gold and silver, and the full-tang construction ensures durability and balance. The blade has been clay-tempered and undergone manual fine grinding, resulting in a functional and high-performance weapon.

The specifications of this katana are as follows: approximately 27.6-inch blade, 10.24-inch handle, 1.26-inch blade width, and 0.28-inch blade thickness, with an overall length of 40.9 inches and a hardness of 60 HRC.

The wooden handle is wrapped in Samegawa (sharkskin) and adorned with a bright ribbon and golden Menuki (ornamental fittings). The detachable structure allows for easy maintenance and customization. The included standard lacquered Scabbard is shell-inlaid, and a preservation Scabbard tied with a brown hand-woven ribbon Sageo (sword cord) is also provided for safekeeping.
