Hejiu Handmade Katana Samurai Sword

High-quality, hand-forged folded steel is used to create our fully handmade Japanese Samurai Swords. The water-quenched blade is highly difficult to produce, with manual slotting and Unokubitsukuri (a traditional method of sword making) followed by hand fine grinding.

The tsuba (hand guard) is made of bronze gilt silver, and the sword features a full tang construction for enhanced functionality. The blade measures approximately 27.2 inches, with a 10.24-inch handle, resulting in an overall length of 40.6 inches. The hardness of the blade is rated at 60HRC.

The wooden handle is wrapped in pearl fish skin and purple silk thread, complemented by Menuki (ornamental fittings). The scabbard is hand-painted with a multicolor artistic design and includes a purple Sageo (sword cord).
